Elsewhere by William Peter Blatty

I was really looking forward to this one, but I must say that after finishing it I wish I had never read it. think of the movies The Haunting and The Others and you have Elsewhere. Kept me reading and finished it in one day, but not in the least bit impressed.

Contrary to the comment above, ELSEWHERE is neither derivative or reminiscent of either THE OTHERS or the splendid THE HAUNTING. The
surprise reveal at the end of ELSEWHERE is nowhere to be found in THE HAUNTING, and ELSEWHERE first appeared in the anthology "999" in 1999, years before THE OTHERS. The truth is thatratilemb THE OTHERS ripped off ELSEWHERE.
