The History of Love is now definitely on my list of books to read--so many book bloggers mention it. I also loved She's Come Undone, but loved I Know This Much is True even more. That was a book I really didn't want to end.

The movie Where The Red Fern Grows (and its sequel) totally made me cry so hard.

I loved Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. I always like James Patterson's love stories more than his mysteries. Although the mysteries are quite good.

Have you read Sam's Letters to Jennifer or Sunday's at Tiffany's? They are both really superb.
